Anyway, Dr. Geller says that the floaters in the premacular bursa may clean out, maybe in some years, because that kind of floaters, in young people, is not caused by degeneration. |

Personally i don't think that iontophoresis could only help with floaters in the Pre Macula Bursa. It would be nice when you could post me a link where tommy said this? It doesn't match with the things the Paracelsus Institute wrote me |

Thommy says:Hi.
In my country, pottasium iodide and sodium iodide 2 % eye drops are prescribed to every floater sufferer. Pottasium & sodium iodide increases metabolism and clearing of eye. It's said that it can help to at least to reduce floaters. There were also some people who claim that they had up to 60 % floater reduction after using these drops. The negative thing is that, it helps only to little % of patients. I WOULD SAY, IT COULD WORK IF YOUR FLOATERS ARE TOO CLOSE TO RETINA OR IN PREMACULAR BURSA.
These drops are made by our farmaceutical company UNIMED PHARMA. :
Potassium iodide and Sodium iodide 2% is used, if necessary absorption of inflammatory exudates (fluid forming for inflammation) and bleeding in the eye due to various reasons (age, high blood pressure, diabetes), various floaters, cataract, the myopic and sclerotic changes in retinal blood vessels and detachment, the thinning (weakening) the optic nerve (the syphilitic basis), commencing with a gray haze, or as adjunctive therapy for fungal infections of the conjunctiva and cornea.

I saw, it's also sold in Germany and Japan (i may be wrong) made by other companies... Just google it, if you're intrested.
Today, I had an appointment with my opthalmologist. She said my floaters are not worth vitrectomy, but if I want, I could try these drops. So I bought 2 bottles (aprox. 3 month suply) and we will see. It's also really cheap. 2 bottles cost less than 4 € |
